Dr. Aylin Orbaşlı is an independent consultant with over fifteen years UK and international experience of working with and advising on historic buildings and areas in the UK and internationally. She trained as an architect and has specialised in conservation and heritage management. 

Internationally she has undertaken work for national and regional governments and worked on donor-funded projects, often advising on heritage in the context of tourism development.  She has experience of working at World Heritage Sites and UNESCO requirements for the inscription and management of sites on the list.

Consultancy assignments can be undertaken as a sub-consultant to another practice, as a member of a consortium or directly with clients.  Through an established network of associates we can bring together a highly qualified and experienced team to suit client needs and project requirements. 

Clients range from national governments, local governments and international conservation and tourism organisations to small trusts.
